As part of Project Sunkalp, a cancer screening camp was conducted at Kinar Village, Madurantakam, Tamil Nadu, bringing preventive healthcare closer to the local community.
A total of 55 beneficiaries came forward for screening, including 15 men and 40 women. The camp provided:
• 35 iBreast Examinations
• 55 Oral Examinations
• 9 Pap Smear Tests
Cancer may not always show clear warning signs in its early stages. Regular screening can help identify suspicious changes early and encourage timely medical evaluation and follow-up.
For many people in rural communities, access to specialised healthcare can be affected by distance, cost, time, or lack of awareness. Project Sunkalp aims to address these challenges by bringing cancer screening and awareness services closer to the communities that need them.
